The campaign trail for the 2024 Presidential election is well underway, and the issue of cryptocurrency has recently taken center stage.

In a recent Truth Social post, Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump said that crypto players should “Vote for Trump” because he will stand up to President Biden’s hatred for Bitcoin.

Over the weekend, Trump hosted several Bitcoin miners at his Mar-a-Lago Estate. Afterward, one of the miners who met with Trump told CNBC that his industry had committed to raising over $100 million and turning out more than 5 million voters for Trump in November.

In 2019, Trump went on record stating that he was not a fan of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Trump went on to say that the value of digital assets is volatile and based on thin air.

However, in March, Trump told media sources that his opinion on crypto had changed after the industry rebounded after a series of scandals. Trump said he is “not sure I’d want to take it away at this point.”

Cryptocurrency Acceptance

While the integration of popular altcoins and the USD has yet to take launch in the eyes of many, a few industries have started accepting digital currency.

Most notably, prepaid gambling sites often accept Bitcoin deposits and other popular altcoins, including Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, and more. While every site’s banking options differ, Bitcoin deposits are generally accepted at most reputable online casino and sportsbook sites.

Recently, more retailers have opened their cash registers to accept digital assets. Some of the most well-known brands today, such as Microsoft, Starbucks, Twitch, AMC, Home Depot, Tesla, and the Dallas Mavericks, have started accepting Bitcoin as payment.

The Trump campaign recently launched a fundraising page that allows any federally permissible donor the ability to give to his campaign. Donors can use any digital asset accepted through the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange to support Trump with his 2024 election efforts.

Gambling On The 2024 Election

After the 2020 election, some voters still need clarification about the authenticity of the election results. Still, there are numerous ways you can bet on the election and win money depending on who is declared the winner.

Since most domestic sports betting locations will not carry odds for the 2024 Presidential election, bettors must look online to cash in on the odds provided. Prepaid sports betting sites currently have tons of props and futures for the 2024 election, and the best part is that you can bet with Bitcoin and other accepted digital assets.

The post Trump Reverses Policy and Says He Is Building A Crypto Army first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.

Here at Prepaid Gambling Dot Net, we advocate using easy digital payment methods when betting online. These are the most common banking options at the top sites, and they give you the best values across the board.

Of course, the most valuable of all prepaid payment methods for online gambling is cryptocurrency. We’ve made no secret about our love for crypto gambling of all kinds, and we’ve often discussed the best cryptos to use for online betting.

However, the crypto coins you use for one deposit might not be the best banking option the next time you move to top up your account. This depends a lot on the actual crypto price for the given asset, the current market trends, and so on.

And depending on whether you’re participating primarily in prepaid online casino gambling, prepaid online sports betting, or prepaid online poker, your best crypto bets might be even more varied still.

All that said, we’ve found that – more often than not – the top few choices tend to remain the same. In general, you should only use those crypto coins for betting online that you already hold or regularly trade.

If you’re going to buy specific cryptos to bet over the Internet, though, we tend to favor either Bitcoin or Ethereum (since they’re always the number-one and number-two crypto assets, respectively), or new third-generation proof-of-stake (PoS) coins like Avalanche, Solana, and Cardano.

Right now, the crypto market as a whole is somewhat down. It’s not at the absolute nadir like it was at the height (depth?) of the most recent crypto crash, but it’s low enough that any coin currently has an appropriate and compelling “buy it now” price.

In other words, if you don’t own any crypto – or if you simply want to buy a bunch more of the stuff – now’s the time to act.

Specifically, though, now’s the time to buy Cardano (ADA).

Cardano is already the most popular – and, thanks to its popularity, the most controversial – PoS cryptocurrency on the market.

It is consistently in the top 10 cryptos by market cap, and it’s currently trading at an attractive $0.46. (The Cardano ADA all-time high is north of $3.09, which it reached in mid-2021, so there’s plenty of room to grow.)

With Cardano about to undergo a much-anticipated hard fork to the anticipated Vasil era, today’s big news is that ADA coins are now tradeable on the Robinhood platform.

You asked… @Cardano is now on Robinhood #ADA #CryptoListing https://t.co/30JpA2vPF5 pic.twitter.com/GlXXu3S1lL

— Robinhood (@RobinhoodApp) September 1, 2022

Per the BeInCrypto blog, this news hasn’t moved the needle on the ADA price too much. At least, not yet:

“In spite of the newfound inclusion of crypto, the market seemed relatively unenthused in its reaction. During a minor surge in trading volume triggered by the announcement earlier this afternoon, ADA managed to rise from $0.448 to as high as $0.462, but has already traded back down to around $0.45.”

Of course, this doesn’t mean there won’t be a small price surge in the immediate future.

Unlike the stock market, the crypto market doesn’t always react immediately to big news like this. It sometimes takes a few days or even a few weeks for enough casual investors, traders, and new users to get on the bandwagon.

We fully expect the price of Cardano to go up in the next few days.

And that, naturally, means that you should probably go ahead and buy in ASAP if you want to take advantage of any near-term ADA gains. This is true for both online gamblers and crypto gamblers, and it’s something we strongly recommend.

So buy some Cardano and let us know how you did.

Meanwhile, stay tuned to see how we did.

The post Robinhood Gambles On Cardano As Trading Giant Lists Popular Crypto Coin first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.

In the world of prepaid online gambling, legacy tech has more or less peaked.

Prepaid Visa and prepaid Mastercard options work about as well as they’re going to, with the UIGEA rearing its ugly head about one time in 20 or so on average. For most players, that’s marginally tolerable, and success rates are unlikely to ever get appreciably better.

Meanwhile, until more legit online casinos, online sportsbooks, and online poker rooms get on board with Bovada-style vouchers and/or third-party services akin to MatchPay, P2P apps like PayPal, Venmo, and others will continue to be options only for the select few.

The same, of course, goes for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other eWallet instant-pay services.

Indeed, the real future of prepaid gambling over the Internet has been clear for some time now: cryptocurrency.

Every reputable site supports Bitcoin betting deposits and payouts, while most sites also support Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

Over the last few years, many sites have added even more altcoins to their deposit and withdrawal options.

The selections are different with every vendor, but they tend to include major crypto coins like Solana, Cardano, Dogecoin, Ripple, Stellar, Chainlink, Tether, and USD Coin.

However, over the last couple of months, the best sites have been expanding their crypto bet funding menus like crazy.

Bovada, Café Casino, and Slots LV – which only started accepting accepting ETH in mid-2021 – now also support Tether online gambling. This is the first time any of these top-rated gambling sites have offered support for a stablecoin crypto asset.

At the same time, BetOnline – which offers a prepaid online poker room and sports betting menu in addition to its standard casino fare – has embraced crypto with a vigor only rivaled by BookMaker.

In the last couple of weeks, BetOnline – along with sister site SportsBetting AG – has rolled out support for all the following altcoin banking options:

Avalanche (AVAX)

Binance Coin (BNB)

Polygon (MATIC)

Shiba Inu (SHIB)

ApeCoin (APE)

*We’ll be reviewing each one of these altcoins in the coming weeks here at PPG, discussing both their unique benefits as prepaid online gambling options and their overall potentials as legitimate cryptocurrency investments.

The addition of these coins to the official roster brings the BetOnline family’s crypto portfolio up to 17 different coins – and we get the feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

To that end, we’re quite curious about which coin(s) are going to be accepted next at BetOnline.

But especially at Bovada.

(Our money is on Cardano at -150 and Solana at +125. Because if there were betting odds, that’s about where they’d be.)

Now, all that said, we’ve also seen a few sites scale back their crypto banking menus a bit.

Most notably, CasinoMax and its sister sites (Roaring 21, Cherry Jackpot, etc.) have removed Ethereum support from their cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal options.

And honestly, that makes some sense.

Right now, Ethereum is the most expensive and resource intensive crypto platform on the market. Mining Ethereum has become less and less profitable for individuals and even small scale data centers, and Ethereum transfers can take over 24 hours to verify when network congestion is particularly heavy.

Since the top-reviewed gambling sites pride themselves in being the best-playing and fastest-paying online casinos, sportsbooks, and poker rooms, Ethereum – in some ways – plays against those reputations.

When Bitcoin payouts arrive in 2-3 hours and Litecoin payouts arrive in under 60 minutes, 1-2 days for a crypto payout – especially a crypto payout that costs more in gas fees than any other crypto payout – just isn’t going to be that well received.

Plus, of course, Ethereum is currently preparing to undergo a major transition to Ethereum 2.0.

Once that happens, there’s no question that Ethereum online gambling options will once again be available for both deposits and withdrawals at CasinoMax, et al.

But the current uncertainty about how the Ethereum transition from Proof-of-Work (PoW) to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) is going to impact ETH prices in the near term could be yet another reason why several of the top sites have bailed on the platform for now.

Regardless, it’s obvious that as crypto support expands at our favorite gambling sites, fiat’s days are probably numbered.

We’re not saying that Bovada or Café Casino or BetOnline or CasinoMax or SlotsPlus or Las Vegas USA (Or any other major sites) are going to abandon the US dollar and credit/debit/bank transfers any time soon, but we’re not not saying that, either.

Because, to be honest, they really probably should.

But even if those older methods hang around indefinitely collecting dust, you’re a gambler, aren’t you? Betting on the dollar has never worked out in the long run, betting on crypto almost universally has, and we feel like crypto’s probably right up your alley.

At least, if you want to turn that alley into a million-dollar beachfront property.

The post Prepaid Gambling Sites Go All In With Expanded Crypto Support first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.

Here at PrepaidGambling, we typically confine ourselves to the financial side of online betting. Of course, once a year, a single event pops up that pushes everything else to the wayside: The Super Bowl.

Only this year, the Super Bowl isn’t the biggest piece of NFL action.

That honor actually falls to Tom Brady.

Of course, that makes some sense, as Brady practically is the Super Bowl. Or, rather, he practically was the Super Bowl.

On February 1, 2022, the greatest player in sports history called it a day.

After 22 years in the league, Brady’s final numbers are staggering. His career totals are so ridiculous that – 10 years ago – you’d have laughed his lofty statistical futures right out of the room.

And here’s the biggest stat of all: Brady went to 10 Super Bowls in 22 seasons.

In other words, 45% of the time, Brady’s team was conference champion. And with seven NFL titles, Brady’s team won the Super Bowl at a 32% clip.

As a bettor, just blindly picking Brady for any long-term prop would have paid out considerably over the long term. Seriously, if you did nothing but bet on Tom Brady futures for the last two decades, you could retire off it – just like Brady himself.

Prepaid sports betting is a lot easier when it’s a “sure thing,” right?

Of course, now that Tom Terrific has hung ‘em up for good (barring a late-season mercenary return to the 49ers or something), you no longer have any real can’t-miss guys to float your mortgage on.

Sure, the next generation of NFL quarterbacks seems strong enough, with players like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray, and maybe even Trevor Lawrence (if the hapless Jags can get it together for the actual NFL season and not just the NFL draft) looking to pick up the Brady mantle and run with it.

But between them, you won’t get Brady’s 35 playoff wins, 10 conference titles, or seven Super Bowl victories.

So, the era of the sure bet is over.

Well, there’s actually one more sure bet on the boards, but it won’t be up forever:

Where Will Rob Gronkowski Play Game 1 Of The 2022/2023 NFL Season?

Not Playing Week 1 -500

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +350

Any Other NFL Team +550

Look: No Tom, no Rob. That’s the deal. There’s simply no way he’s playing another snap in the NFL, much less the next snap in the NFL.

The above line on The Gronk is a bigger lock than anything else on the boards outside the 2024 odds on The Donald. It’s as “prepaid” as online gambling payouts get.

And we don’t have to tell you, but that’s the best kind of prepaid gambling there is.

In other NFL news, one recent sure thing actually wasn’t.

In early January, Washington Redskins Football Team owner Daniel Snyder indicated that his club would be changing its name to one of a handful of possible mascots.

Later, an “investigative sports journalist” (LOL) did some digging and discovered that one of those potential names – “Admirals” – apparently had an associated URL: www.washingtonadmirals.com.

While there was no evidence this URL was owned by the team, it sent bettors scrambling to the odds boards, which ended up looking like this (courtesy of Bovada):

2022 NFL Specials – New Washington Football Team Name

Washington Admirals -350

Washington Commanders +200

Washington RedHogs +1400

Washington Armada +2200

Washington Defenders +2200

Washington Redtails +2200

Washington Brigade +2500

Washington Presidents +2500

Washington Aviators +4000

Washington Lincolns +4000

Washington Renegades +4000

Washington Sentinels +4000

Washington Generals +5000

Of course, as we found out yesterday, that lock was anything but.

Instead, the DC-based ballclub went with “Commanders,” which is fitting.

As the Internet was quick to point out, the obvious and inevitable “Commies” nickname unironically jibes with the region.

It’s been a hot minute since most of the top prepaid gambling sites have introduced new payment options.

Recently, however, BetOnline added yet another new cryptocurrency to its online bet funding menu.

For whatever reason – out of all the big-name US-facing online betting sites, BetOnline – along with sister site SportsBetting AG – consistently offers the biggest and most updated crypto selection.

Most operators simply settle for Bitcoin and some combination of Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and/or Ethereum for a little variety. While these options are fine, they’re not necessarily the best for gamblers.

Bitcoin (BTC) – though still the king of the hill and the industry gold standard for investment – is slow to actually use, and the fees aren’t trivial. BTC transfers can eat up 10% or more of your transfer, and the platform takes 30-60 minutes to verify transactions.

The wait is especially problematic when you want to enter an online slots tournament in 20 minutes or bet on a game that starts in five.

Meanwhile, prepaid Ethereum gambling is even slower and more expensive than Bitcoin betting.

In fact, outside of its investment potential, we don’t normally recommend Ethereum (ETH) for online gambling. Transfers often take upwards of 90 minutes or more, and the so-called “Ethereum gas fees” are the highest in the entire crypto market.

The cost proposition is simply too high for most casual gamblers, and if you don’t already hodl and trade ETH regularly, we strongly recommend pretty much anything else.

To that end, most sites also offer Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) support. Both of these are faster and have minimal fees, but their shared weakness is that they aren’t in the same class as Bitcoin or Ether when it comes to investment.

LTC is currently just inside the top 25 cryptos (22nd place) per CoinMarketCap, while BCH is outside the top 25 at 27th. Both crypto coins have been occupying these positions for nearly a year now, and they don’t seem to benefit from big runs quite as much as higher-ranked options.

And that’s where BetOnline comes in.

Unlike other sites, BetOnline is pretty good about analyzing the momentum of a given coin and then adding said coin to its banking menu whenever that momentum peaks.

The site did this for Cardano back in Q3 2021, and it followed suit with Solana in Q4.

Solana (SOL) – like Cardano (ADA) – is a third-generation Proof-of-Stake (PoS) crypto currency, and it has many of the same benefits – for both prepaid online gambling and crypto investment – that Cardano does.

For one thing, Solana was 2021’s biggest gainer, mirroring the hype that Cardano enjoyed just a few months earlier.

Today, both coins are inside the top 10 cryptocurrencies in terms of total market cap, and they are considered to be one another’s primary rivals.

Also like Cardano, Solana is (erroneously) often referred to as an “Ethereum killer.”

To be clear, neither SOL nor ADA are actually “Ethereum killers,” as Ethereum is still the top dog in the NFT and smart contract spaces. Also, Ethereum 2.0 isn’t even out yet.

But both SOL and ADA are better than Ethereum when it comes to online betting, and the benefits of betting with Solana are the same as the benefits of betting with Cardano.

Namely, you get nearly instant transfers (5-10 minutes at most), virtually no attached blockchain fees (literal pennies on the hundred dollar), and access to the same enhanced crypto betting bonuses that Bitcoin and legacy altcoins earn when making deposits.

You also get same-day payouts faster and with lower fees than any other crypto method.

Not all sites currently accept Solana (or Cardano, for that matter), but both BetOnline and SportsBetting AG do. And, naturally, we expect other big brands – like Bovada, Café Casino, Slots LV, Casino Max, and more – to roll out SOL support in the near future.

The post BetOnline Adds Solana Crypto To Prepaid Gambling Menu first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.
