From time to time, deposits made using prepaid debit cards can be canceled mid-transaction due to federal government oversight of offshore transactions.

Some US-based banking institutions will cancel a transaction if they think it is going to an international gambling site.

To avoid this situation, online gamblers can use MatchPay, a third-party, peer-to-peer trading company where funds from your prepaid debit card can be used to purchase vouchers from other members.

These vouchers can then be used to fund your account with cash that can be spent betting at online sportsbooks, casino sites, or at the poker tables.

Vouchers can also be purchased using other popular methods that are normally blocked from funding online gambling accounts, such as Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, CashApp, and more.

Prepaid Visa, MasterCard, AmericanExpress, and other popular brands of debit cards can be used to fund one of the above account types, which can then be used to fund your gambling account.

The online gambling site isn’t actually accepting payments from these vendors. MatchPay acts as a go-between, providing an exchange where members of a given gambling site can purchase vouchers.

There are also no fees attached to any transactions from MatchPay’s end, although there could be finance charges issued by one of the vendors that they accept.

In some cases, debit cards may charge a fee for online purchases or an activation fee.

A downside of depositing with MatchPay is that there is no opportunity to earn any bonus cash, as the site regards these voucher transactions as exchanging kept money. Only new money is eligible for promo dollars.

Whether you want to purchase a deposit or sell a voucher, anyone involved needs to be a member of the associated gambling site and possess a MatchPay account.

One of our favorite online betting sites is Bovada.LV. Their longevity in the industry and vast array of online casino games, sports betting options, and online poker set them apart from all others on the web.

We can say the same about any of the gambling sites that fall under the Bovada corporate umbrella. These sites include Slots.LV and Café Casino.

While MatchPay deposits can be initiated at several trusted online casinos, Bovada, Café Casino, and Slots.LV allow for uploads with embedded software.

MatchPay accounts are still required, but using MatchPay at Bovada or any sister site can be done by clicking on the associated button inside the banking suite.

The membership signup process can be initiated from within the Bovada-related deposit page. Any trades made using MatchPay are private, and the details will not be shared on any receipts or financial data.

Visit our MatchPay page to learn more about joining and taking advantage of their services.

The post MatchPay Offers Instant Online Gambling Deposits With Pre-Paid Cards first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.

For those new to the crypto game – particularly those who are also thinking about signing up with a reputable prepaid online gambling site – there’s always an issue buying in for the first time.

If you’ve never bought cryptocurrency before, the process for doing so is time-consuming and – let’s be real, here – pretty darn annoying.

In fact, the whole thing puts a lot of potential crypto buyers off the whole idea. And that’s a shame.

The biggest hurdle, of course, is the fact that the major exchanges require you to go through significant Know Your Customer (KYC) account verification.

While this doesn’t always take too long (often requiring just a few minutes if you have all your credentials on hand), it can take up to a couple of days in rare cases.

But beyond that, once you set up your account, link your banking information (checking account, debit card, credit card, etc.), and buy the crypto coin or coins of your choice, you’ll have to submit to a lengthy waiting period of up to 10 days before you’ll be able to send your crypto off the exchange itself.

This off-platform sending restriction for new crypto users isn’t arbitrary, either. It’s an FTC/SEC compliance requirement for exchanges to “guarantee” enough liquidity to back the assets you purchase.

Of course, if you have a P2P account – such as PayPal or Venmo – you can also buy crypto through those apps, albeit the selection is limited.

At this time, both services are limited to Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Ethereum (ETH).

Meanwhile, gambling-friendly altcoins like Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Dogecoin (DOGE), and others supported by many of the best sites can only be purchased through the exchanges themselves, not through PayPal crypto or Venmo crypto portals.

But even if you’re 100% ready for prepaid Bitcoin gambling or prepaid Litecoin betting (the latter being our favorite method this side of Cardano), you still can’t use these P2P platforms directly.

PayPal and Venmo do not allow for off-platform sending at all. You can only buy and sell the stuff within the apps. That’s far from helpful, to say the least.

That being said, Cash App actually does allow users to buy crypto and send it to external wallets (i.e. to legal prepaid gambling sites) without any waiting, but Cash App only supports BTC.

For many gamblers, that’s fine, as Bitcoin is still the crypto of choice for pretty much everyone, especially those getting into the alternative currency market for the first time.

But Bitcoin fees and transaction times leave something to be desired, which is why many bettors prefer altcoins that send faster and cost less to use.

Long story short: If you want to buy crypto with which to make online gambling deposits, you can’t really use PayPal or Venmo, and Cash App is limited to BTC only.

(Zelle users can quickly bypass exchange wait times to make crypto deposits by going the Zelle-to-Bitcoin route, though like Cash App, Zelle only supports Bitcoin purchases through the LocalBitcoins exchange, and there’s a heavy premium on the Bitcoin price when using LocalBitcoins.)

However, in a strange but welcome twist, there’s a new way to buy crypto with PayPal that doesn’t limit you. That’s because PayPal has partnered with Coinbase as an official payment option!

To be 100% clear, this avenue does not allow you to bypass the aforementioned exchange wait times, but it does make buying in easier and more straightforward for those who prefer to use PayPal to handle their crypto purchases.

It’s not game-changing by any means, but it is another option that should serve to expand the accessibility of crypto to millions of users (and tens of thousands of potential online gamblers looking to maximize their deposit bonuses, minimize their fees, and claim same-day payouts).

To buy crypto with PayPal through Coinbase, you still need to set up a Coinbase account, go through their KYC process, and abide by their new user waiting period (5-10 days).

And, naturally, you’ll also need a PayPal account.

But if you already have the latter, you have no need to link your Coinbase account to your bank account or any other card-based payment option. Instead, just “check out” using PayPal as you might on any other site. That’s the real convenience, here.

So while this new PayPal crypto option doesn’t provide too many shortcuts for the online gambler (check out our recent article on Coinify gambling deposits for an alternative option that does let you skip past any lengthy exchange restrictions), it gives a large number of new cryptocurrency users a quick(er) way to get started overall.

And hopefully, with enough adoption, this new strategy by PayPal (Venmo support for the same is slated to launch by the end of the year) will eventually shorten or eliminate off-platform sending restrictions in a meaningful way.

The crypto ecosystem is barely built out, after all, and PayPal support – even in this minimalistic way – should help further establish cryptocurrency in the mainstream.

The post PayPal Coinbase Partnership Helps You Buy Crypto For Prepaid Gambling first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.

Here at PPG, alternative payment options are our cause célèbre.

They are our raison d’être.

You know, our…je ne sais quoi.

And various other French turns of phrase.

After all, we have fully surrendered to the allure of prepaid online gambling, with its easy transactions, UIGEA-compatible processes, oft-enhanced betting bonuses, and so on.

Typically, of course, the best prepaid gambling options we tout are the various betting-friendly crypto coins supported by the top sites (i.e. Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc.), as they come with favorable limits, the best bonuses, and – most importantly – same-day payouts.

However, there’s now another pair of options that are nearly as good, and in many cases, potentially even better: vouchers and MatchPay.

To be clear, these aren’t universal options.

Vouchers and MatchPay are both available at Bovada, where MatchPay is exclusively offered. Meanwhile, vouchers are actually available at a few other similar sites, like Café Casino and Slots LV.

We don’t know when or if other sites will get on board with either option, but it’s clear that they absolutely should.

That said, these limitations shouldn’t be a problem.

If you’re an avid online gambler, you’ve almost certainly got a Bovada membership in addition to your account at any other top-rated betting site.

And if you don’t have a Bovada membership, you should get one ASAP.

Ditto for the other venues listed above.

So maybe these new prepaid deposit options will be the things that get you over the hump.

Gambling Vouchers

Online betting vouchers (aka “player transfers”) were actually introduced some time ago, though they haven’t been widely used until recently.

At the sites that offer vouchers, players now have the option to indirectly fund their bankrolls via popular P2P instant-pay apps, including the following:

PayPal

Venmo

Cash App

Zelle Pay

Apple Pay

Google Pay

Samsung Pay

Square Pay

+ More

To be clear, despite having hundreds of millions of users between them, these P2P platforms and e-Wallet services are not directly supported by overseas betting sites.

This is due to UIGEA compliance.

However, with gambling vouchers and transfers, there’s an ingenious workaround.

By using these options, players at a given site can buy and sell account balances among one another via private P2P transfers.

Let’s say you want to use PayPal to make a deposit at Café Casino.

Since the site can’t accept PayPal as such, you’ll instead choose the “voucher” or “player transfer” option from the cashier page.

Then, head over to the Café Casino community boards and find a voucher or player transfer for sale in an amount that works for your needs.

Contact the seller through the site’s messaging portal, get their PayPal information, and send them a private transfer of the cash amount in question.

There are no fees, and transactions process immediately.

Then, simply go back to the site cashier, enter in the voucher code or transfer code you’ve received from your fellow site member, and the balance is credited to your account immediately.

No fuss, no muss.

The sole caveat here is that you need to be able to trust your seller.

While the sites we recommend have user protections in place as long as you contact sellers through official site channels, you can actually buy voucher codes and transfer codes off-site via other forums.

In such cases as these, of course, the site has less oversight that it can effectively exert, and trust becomes paramount.

It’s for this reason that we suggest only buying gambling vouchers and player transfers through branded site portals.

For sellers, the voucher/transfer process can also often come with same-day betting payouts, which used to be the sole domain of cryptocurrency.

You won’t get same-day payouts every time (as this is dependent on other members answering your ad), but more often than not, you will.

Bovada MatchPay

Vouchers and player transfers are great, as they open the door to many different deposit and withdrawal options that aren’t natively supported by your gambling site of choice.

But they are a bit clunky, requiring members to jump through extra hoops and take on unnecessary risks if the transactions are initiated off-platform (which, again, we do not recommend).

In order to get around this – to both streamline the overall process and eliminate all risk – Bovada has introduced support for the third-party MatchPay service.

Through the Bovada Cashier, you can sign up for the MatchPay service, which is 100% free and takes about two minutes.

Once you’re enrolled, you are now a MatchPay Trader.

Within MatchPay, simply select the various P2P services you already use (i.e. PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, G Pay, etc.), enter in the amount of money you wish to deposit or withdraw, and MatchPay does the rest.

This works exactly like the voucher/transfer process above, except you don’t have to buy or sell any codes, set up or answer ads for the same, or worry about your seller absconding with your funds without honoring their end of the bargain.

MatchPay is a truly ideal solution that makes using PayPal and other P2P apps and eWallets a breeze.

And because MatchPay is fully automated, you can claim same-day payouts using the service even more reliably than you can with vouchers or player transfers.

The only negative is that while vouchers and player transfers come with deposit and withdrawal maximums of $3000 and $15,000 respectively, MatchPay max limits are set at $1000 per transaction.

Of course, for the vast majority of online gamblers, that’s more than enough (and it likely only matters for withdrawals even when it matters at all).

All in all, both vouchers/transfers and MatchPay are excellent additions to the online betting space, and we hope that more sites start rolling out similar services of their own sooner rather than later.

For our part, we’ll continue to primarily use crypto for online gambling, as we’re avid hodlers as well as bettors, but it’s nice that these new options are finally available.

And remember, even when you deposit into the best prepaid online gambling sites with vouchers, transfers, or MatchPay, you can always claim your payouts in crypto.

The choice – more than ever – is yours!

The post PayPal, Venmo, Other P2P Apps Now Supported By Top Sites first appeared on Prepaid Gambling Sites.
